STARTRADER Adds SK Hynix CFD Days After $26.5B US Listing
Abstract:STARTRADER has launched SK Hynix (SKHY) as a US Stock CFD on its platform, available from July 22, 2026, shortly after the South Korean chipmaker's US listing raised approximately $26.5 billion. The move gives traders exposure to a key supplier of high-bandwidth memory at the heart of the AI infrastructure market.

STARTRADER has launched SK Hynix Inc. (SKHY) as a US Stock CFD on its trading platform, moving within days of the South Korean chipmaker's blockbuster US market debut that raised approximately $26.5 billion. The contract for difference was made available to clients from July 22, 2026, the broker announced from Dubai on July 23.
The addition gives retail and institutional traders exposure to one of the world's leading suppliers of high-bandwidth memory, a critical component in the AI infrastructure supply chain.
A rapid response to a landmark listing
SK Hynix's US listing was one of the largest in recent memory, pulling in roughly $26.5 billion and drawing significant attention from the global investment community. STARTRADER moved to list the CFD within a narrow window after the debut, underscoring the broker's intent to act on market-moving events without delay.
Peter Karsten, Chief Executive Officer of STARTRADER, framed the decision as deliberate. “SK Hynix's arrival on the US market made this the right moment to act, and acting early on behalf of our clients is exactly what we intend to keep doing,” Karsten said in the press release distributed via GlobeNewswire and FinanceWire.
Why SK Hynix matters to traders
SK Hynix sits at the centre of the AI memory supply chain. Its high-bandwidth memory chips are essential for the large-scale computing workloads that power modern AI models. As institutional investors track the full AI infrastructure story, from chip designers to memory suppliers, the company's US listing opens a new channel for traders who previously had limited direct access.
By offering SKHY as a CFD, STARTRADER allows clients to take long or short positions without owning the underlying shares, a structure suited to a newly listed and potentially volatile equity.
A product philosophy built on anticipation
The SKHY launch reflects a broader product philosophy centred on anticipating where institutional attention is heading. As the boundary between global and US-listed equities narrows, the broker aims to position itself at that intersection, connecting clients to names the global investment community is beginning to follow closely.
The firm described the SK Hynix debut as “precisely the type of occasion STARTRADER builds its product strategy around” -- significant companies entering the US market and drawing institutional interest.
The broker behind the move
STARTRADER is a global multi-asset broker serving retail and institutional clients through platforms including MetaTrader, STAR-APP, and STAR-COPY. The firm operates under regulation in five jurisdictions: the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) in Kenya, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), South Africa's Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), the Financial Services Authority (FSA) of Seychelles, and the Financial Services Commission (FSC) of Mauritius.
