BASIC INFORMATION
A joint stock company incorporated in 2011 in Bulgaria, ENERGO-PRO Trading JSC is a subsidiary of the ENERGO-PRO Group, which was established in the Czech Republic in 1994. The corporation has 47 hydroelectric power plants with a combined 860 MW installed capacity. On the soil of the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Georgia, Turkey, and Armenia, ENERGO-PRO does business. It has almost 8000 employees. Over 2 million clients in Bulgaria and Georgia get electric electricity from the corporation through transmission and distribution. Czech Republic-based Energo-Pro a.s. owns the whole business. A new branch of ENERGO-PRO Trading JSC been opened in Romania. ENERGO-PRO Trading's primary area of focus is to strengthen the Group's position by establishing a stable and reliable presence through long-term relationships with major energy companies in Central and Southeast Europe, as well as to increase trading turnover and provide electricity to business partners in the region. Currently, ENERGO-PRO Trading maintains positive trading ties with key business partners active in the wholesale electricity markets, giving us a steady presence and the chance to grow our trading positions and prospective partner pool at the same time. By taking use of its vast market positions and knowledge, ENERGO-PRO Trading is able to assure a number of synergies at the group level. Energo-Pro Trading, which works closely with Energo-Pro Bulgaria, the largest private producer of electricity from renewable sources in Bulgaria, maximizes the sale of the electricity produced by its HPPs by seizing every opportunity that presents itself not only locally but also by examining all regional energy markets. Energo-Pro Trading also works closely with Energo-Pro Energy Services, which supplies power to final users all around Bulgaria. The electricity volumes exchanged by ENERGO-PRO Trading in 2016 can reach 999 GWh. To guarantee financial stability and sound governance, the corporation set up dependable financial controls.
